Draco-Giant War

The Draco-Giant War is a major historical event that engulfed the Feywild into a massive conflict between the Giants and the Dragons. The conflict led to the deaths of large numbers of fey folk, in no small part due to the physical size of the combatants, who often overlooked the fair-sized.

The Fey Refugees

As the war displaced fey communities, someone foresaw or studied the impending arrival of a stable fey crossing to the world Thera. Its destination was unknown to the refugees gathering around it.

Auraxx, a gold dragon involved in the war, persuaded the Archfey to send the displaced communities through the crossing. Although an unnamed superior within the draconic forces ordered him not to accompany them, he assumed his humanoid form and entered the crossing so that he could protect them wherever they arrived.

The crossing carried them into Senera, then a region of Thera that later became an island. The refugees became the ancestors of Senera’s fey communities, although Auraxx’s defiance exposed him to a curse prepared in anticipation of his choice.
